Preparation of FT UNY Satisfaction Survey Report 2023

UPM FT UNY - On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the Faculty of Engineering of Yogyakarta State University (FT UNY) held important activities in order to prepare the satisfaction survey report. The event was held in the Transit Room from 09.00 PM until completion and was attended by 18 participants. The event was organized by the FT UNY Quality Assurance Unit as part of a sustained quality improvement effort.

Opening and Delivery of Survey Results:


Anggun Winursito, S.Pd., M.Eng. pointed out that the survey was conducted by FT UNY as a consistent effort to improve the quality and satisfaction of stakeholders, which includes students, parents, the workforce, government, lecturers, sponsors, and other relevant parties.
The survey results are expected to be the basis in developing a sustainable quality culture to realize the vision of FT UNY.


The survey respondents targeted were lecturers, students, and educators.
The survey was conducted throughout 2023 with data collection on November 21, 2023.
The data analysis method used is the rating scale.
Instruments and Survey Results:


The instruments of the lecturer satisfaction survey in the fields of management, finance, and resources are composed of 20 questions covering three main aspects: management, finances, and means of resources.
The survey involved 58 lecturers from the entire course of study at the Faculty of Engineering, with results showing a satisfaction score of 88,04% (kategori: sangat puas).
Findings and suggestions:


The three question items with the lowest score are the state of the art, state of learning, and the suitability of learning.
The survey also covered the area of research and dedication to the community (PkM), with each instrument consisting of 15 questions and the number of respondents as many as 51 lecturers for research and 50 lecturer for PkM. The respondents' advice included upgrading outdated facilities and supplies, improving classroom facilities, as well as repairing the equipment in the workshop.

Dr. Umi Rochayati, M.T.:

Informed the Dean of UNY FT about the implementation plan of the Management Review Meeting (RTM), as well as the importance of preparing survey reports involving online platforms such as Zoom to improve responsiveness.


Dr. Yuwono:

Emphasizes the importance of reminding faculty, students, and educational staff of surveys several times a year, as well as of communicating survey results and advice to faculty leadership.
Proposal that, during the implementation of the Commitment to the Community (PPM), a survey link be given to be filled in by the participants while in the field.
Activity Purpose:


The purpose and purpose of this activity is to compile a comprehensive satisfaction survey report to improve the quality of services and facilities at the UNY Faculty of Engineering.


Compiled a report on the satisfaction survey of lecturers at UNY FT with a high satisfaction score, as well as the identification of areas that need improvement.
The event was attended by all stakeholders, demonstrating a shared commitment to improving the quality of education and services.
Continuity:


This activity will continue to improve and implement the suggestions of the survey to better quality in the future. This activity is an important step inining and improving the quality of education at the Faculty of Engineering of Yogyakarta State University, in line with the vision and mission of the university to provide the best service to all stakeholders.
