The MBKM FT UNY Handbook Preparation Workshop

Penjamu FT UNY - On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Faculty of Engineering held a workshop on the compilation of the Independent Campus Learning Guidebook (MBKM). This activity was organized by the FT UNY Quality Assurance Unit and held in the KPLT Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, with implementation times starting from 09.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB.

This event was attended by the dean, the head of the UNY Faculty of Engineering, namely Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, M.Sc., MT., Ph.D., the head of the quality assurance unit, and its members, as well as other activity participants. Apart from that, there were also two speakers who were presented to deliver the material directly. The presenters were split into two groups: morning and afternoon.

This workshop is one of the activities that aims to assist in the preparation of the MBKM guidebook, which will be used as a guide for students and lecturers participating in the Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus activities. This activity is part of the UNY Faculty of Engineering's efforts to improve the quality of learning on campus as well as provide opportunities for students and lecturers to study independently.

The workshop activity began with remarks from the faculty leadership, who explained the importance of MBKM for the Faculty of Engineering at UNY and thanked all parties involved in the preparation of the MBKM guidebook.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UNY, Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, M.Sc., MT., Ph.D., conveyed, "By holding this activity, we can complete the making of guidelines for study programs that will be carried out by lecturers, students, and students so that we can carry out MKBM properly." "And with the completion of this MBKM guidebook, it can later be implemented next semester by lecturers and students," he concluded.

"This activity is a dream to produce an MBKM guidebook. UNY already has an MBKM guide, but it doesn't refer to each faculty, so it needs to be made a separate guide. "Moreover, FT has characteristics such as apprenticeship and PI, FT assesses the activities of students who do internships at vocational schools," said the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, FT UNY, Dr. Umi Rochayati, M.T.
