UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Promotes the Faculty's Vision and Mission in PKKMB Activities

Penjamu FT UNY - The UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Unit socialized the vision and mission of the UNY Faculty of Engineering at the PKKMB event, which was held in the UNY Faculty of Engineering hall on the 3rd floor on Thursday, August 25, 2022. The PKKMB event was attended by the Dean, Deputy Dean for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Head of Study Program, lecturers, and the activity committee, and this event was attended by all new students of the FT UNY Study Program who will start studying in the first semester of the new academic year. Apart from that, this event was also attended by lecturers and educational staff of FT UNY as well as faculty officials.

Activities are held in a blended manner, namely online and offline; activities are also broadcast live on the UNY Faculty of Engineering YouTube channel.

In this socialization, the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Engineering UNY conveyed the vision and mission of the faculty which are the ideals and goals to be achieved by the faculty. The vision of FT UNY is:

Become an excellent, creative, and innovative faculty in the fields of technology, engineering, and vocational education based on piety, independence, and intelligence in 2025.

MISSION OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING UNY
1. Organizing superior, creative and innovative academic, professional and vocational education in the field of technology, engineering and vocational education to produce pious, independent and intellectual human beings.

2. Carrying out research to discover, develop, and disseminate science, technology, and the arts that prosper individuals and society, support regional and national development, and contribute to solving global problems creatively and innovatively based on piety, independence, and intelligence.

3. Organizing community service and empowerment that encourages the development of human potential in society and the environment to realize community welfare based on piety, independence, and intelligence.

4. Organizing good, clean and accountable faculty governance and services to create excellent, creative and innovative faculties based on piety, independence and intelligence.

5. Creating a learning process and environment that are able to creatively and innovatively empower students to carry out lifelong learning based on piety, independence, and intelligence

6. Develop cooperation with other institutions, both national and international, creatively and innovatively to improve the quality of the implementation of the tridharma on the principle of equality and mutual benefit based on piety, independence, and intelligence.

At the conclusion of the presentation, the Head of Quality Assurance for the Faculty of Engineering UNY conveyed and explained about filling out forms related to understanding the vision and mission so that all academics and students in the FT UNY environment could fill them out, as well as how to fill out the Beginning and End of Semester Emonev.

This event is expected to provide new students with a better understanding of the vision and mission of FT UNY so that a strong commitment from students can be realized to continue to fight for the ideals and goals of the faculty while they are FT UNY students.
