Benchmarking Activities of the UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Unit at Brawijaya University

Penjamu FT UNY - The UNY FT Quality Assurance Team carried out a comparative study activity with Brawijaya University, which was held on September 14, 2022. This comparative study activity was part of efforts related to quality assurance to improve quality and make it more advanced. The activity was held in the Oryza Sativa Room, Lt. 3-UB Guest House.

This activity was also carried out and attended by:

• Chair and Secretary of Commission E, Yogyakarta State University Senate
• Member of Commission E, Yogyakarta State University Senate
• Chairman of LPMPP Yogyakarta State University
• Head of the Center for Higher Education Quality Development
• Head of the Center for Audit, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Higher Education
• Head of UPM for each faculty at UNY and Postgraduate

The comparative study carried out at Universitas Brawijaya ran smoothly and obtained very good results that can be applied to quality assurance in the UNY environment. Some of the comparative study results obtained were:

1. Quality assurance at Brawijaya University is the key to management control.
2. One cycle of quality assurance at Universitas Brawijaya is OSDAT (Organization of Follow-Up Audit Data System).
3. SPMI is carried out through service integration called "One Data Universitas Brawijaya."
4. Sharing is carried out between universities, faculties, and study programs.
5. An accreditation clinic is held every Thursday to assist the task force.
6. Accreditation data already exists in internal quality audits and has been prepared for LPM.
7. If there are differences in lecturer data, the data is reviewed at PD Dikti.
8. Performance monitoring is carried out continuously.

It is hoped that some of the results of the comparative studies obtained and described above can be followed and implemented in their application in the quality assurance environment at UNY.
