Some of the discussion results and main points expressed in this meeting include:

  • Mechanism for Using the Old Strategic Plan: The mechanism for using the revised old Renstra from August 2021 was explained as the basis for the preparation of the new Renstra.
  • SWOT Analysis: The importance of conducting a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the faculty, as well as existing opportunities and challenges.
  • Linkage with IKU and SNI: Renstra needs to be linked to Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and Indonesian National Standards (SNI), so that it has an impact on the preparation of programs and activities.
  • Brainstorming: It is proposed to organize a brainstorming event involving faculty leaders, hosts, developers, senate, and alumni/stakeholders.
  • Drafting and Validation: The next process will involve drafting and validation by faculty leaders and relevant stakeholders.

This activity marks the beginning of the Faculty of Engineering UNY's efforts to develop a Strategic Plan that will serve as a strategic guide in the development and improvement of faculty quality. By involving various related parties, it is expected that the Renstra will be able to accommodate the needs and expectations of all stakeholders, and encourage the achievement of the faculty's vision and mission.
