Monitoring of FT KPI Achievements (Mid-Year and End of Year)

Penjamu FT UNY - The Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (UNY) carried out Monitoring of the Achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on August 8, 2023. This activity aims to evaluate the achievement of KPIs in the middle and end of the year, as well as identify improvement efforts needed to achieve the set targets. The meeting was attended by 33 participants and was held online through the Zoom platform.

In this meeting, I Wayan Adiyasa, M.Eng., presented the results of the university data recap which showed that the Faculty of Engineering was ranked 5th out of 8 faculties. However, on May 2, the faculty has increased to the 2nd rank. In addition, achievements in research and Community Service (PkM) also reached the 2nd rank. The achievement of the 5th KPI also managed to get 2nd place.

Dr. Ir. Darmono, MT, talked about student bills in the Student Creativity Program (PKM), one of which is the article. He made a request to lecturers to provide direction to students in writing PKM articles.

Ir. Yosep Efendi, M.Pd., added suggestions by emphasizing the importance of recognition if students' articles make it to Sinta (National Indexed Information System) and proposed giving rewards as awards. He also highlighted the fact that in one article several lecturers' names can appear, which is recognized by IKU. Furthermore, Ir. Yosep Efendi also mentioned that not all student articles are always good, and there are some good ones that should be submitted to the national level. In addition, there is assistance provided to improve the quality of study program research.

Beni Tri Sasongko, S.T. M.Eng., provided information that in the Department of Research and Community Service (DPM) lecturers' research was made an Article Index (IA). In addition, industrial practice is also made an IA and it is endeavored that each student has one IA. Cooperation in DPM is considered quite good, and student research is also made IA.

This monitoring activity is part of the efforts of the Faculty of Engineering UNY to continue to improve the quality of education and research and ensure the achievement of KPIs according to the predetermined targets. With collaboration and direction from stakeholders, it is expected that the achievement of the KPI of the Faculty of Engineering UNY will be of higher quality and beneficial for the development of the faculty and society in general. This monitoring activity also provides a comprehensive overview of the achievement of the KPIs of the Faculty of Engineering UNY and the steps that will be taken to continue to improve the quality of education and research at the faculty. All participants are expected to contribute in achieving the targets that have been set, so that the faculty continues to progress and provide the best service to students.
