STUDY OF THE ONLINE CIVIL ENGINEERING FIELD ACCREDITATION VISITATION PROGRAM (S1) 

The Civil Engineering Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University underwent an online accreditation visitation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) through two assessor representatives, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Saleh Pallu, M.Eng. from Hasanuddin University and Prof. Ir. I Gusti Bagus Sila Dharma, MT, Ph.D. from Udayana University. The online visitation was welcomed by the Rector, Vice Rector, Dean, Vice Dean, and all administrators and lecturers in the Civil Engineering Study Program. This online accreditation visitation activity from BAN-PT lasted for 2 days (22-23/03/2021).


This online assessment includes the process of checking LKPT (Higher Education Performance Report) documents, LED (Self Evaluation Report), SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System) data and processes by involving several parties in its implementation such as lecturers, students, education staff, alumni, graduate users / stakeholders.

In order to facilitate coordination and communication flow, faculty leaders, study programs, management form drafting team, study program form drafting team, several lecturers, and several students involved were provided with a special room in the FT UNY Conference Room to access Zoom. Although gathered in one large room, this online visitation activity still carries out health protocols by maintaining distance between individuals and wearing masks.

This online Field Assessment begins with confirmation of the management unit form (Faculty) and the party involved is the management form drafting team (3B). The next session is confirmation related to the implementation of SPMI, checking documents and quality assurance instruments.  The assessors were explained in turn by the Dean, Deputy Dean, Coordinator of Civil Engineering Study Program and Head of Quality Assurance related to the available facilities such as laboratories and workshops for practice and libraries, computer and internet access to support lecture references virtually or through videos and photos. 

Next, the study program confirmation session was led by the Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Study Program (S1), Dr. Slamet Widodo. After the online field assessment on the first day of the assessment, the two assessors conducted interviews with technicians, alumni, stakeholders and students on the second day. The assessment continued and the assessors provided a review and minutes related to the field assessment. The results of the visitation can be known approximately 2 months after the field assessment.
