Quality Assurance Team Meeting

Meeting

In order to improve the performance of Faculty Quality Assurance, the FT Host Team routinely holds regular coordination meetings. In addition to evaluating the achievements of each division's work program, this activity also aims to provide the latest information related to the 4.0 version of the Prodi Accreditation Instrument. The activity which took place in the KPLT Conference Room on the 2nd floor was attended by the Chief Host, all Team members and the FT Host admin.

Rustam Asnawi, Ph.D. as the Chief Guest in his presentation said that this activity was a follow-up activity from the previous quality assurance meeting. In addition, this activity aims to provide the latest information related to the Prodi Accreditation Instrument version 4.0 with 9 criteria. "This new instrument must indeed be socialized. Because in IAP 4.0 it uses 9 criteria, no longer quality standards," he explained.

This socialization, he added, is intended to update several things related to the instruments issued by BAN-PT. So that all study programs at the Faculty of Engineering that want to apply for the accreditation process must adjust to the applicable instruments and assessments. "These criteria came into effect on April 1, 2019," he said.

This new variant of university accreditation instrument is adjusted to the needs of the current era. So that in BAN-PT regulation No.2 of 2018, it is hoped that each university can measure its students. Starting from the aspects, input, process, output and outcome have clear and measurable criteria. Currently BAN-PT has issued new regulations for Study Program Accreditation and Higher Education Accreditation. For study program accreditation, a self-evaluation report document and an academic performance report document are required. "Meanwhile, for university accreditation, two documents are also needed, namely the university self-evaluation report document and also the university performance report document," he added.
