Preparation of AMI Report of Faculty of Engineering UNY 2023
Penjamu FT UNY - The Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (FT UNY) carried out activities to prepare the Institutional Self-Accreditation Report (AMI) on October 31, 2023. This event was held offline in the [location] room. The participants involved in this activity were the FT 2023 AMI report preparation team.
The Importance of New Rules for S2 Programs
Prof. Dr. Ir. Edy Supriyadi, M.Pd., Dean of FT UNY, conveyed the importance of paying attention to the new rules related to master's programs, especially those governing 54 credits for master's degrees. It is necessary to consider how to divide the credits efficiently. In addition, issues related to the change in the name of the study program to Vocational Education were also discussed, and FT UNY has taken steps by making an equalization letter to ensure compliance with ASN requirements.
Scope and Average Results of AMI
Beni Tri Sasongko, S.T., M.Eng., and Akhsin Nurlayli, S.Pd., M.Eng., as the next presenter, discussed the scope of AMI involving 9 criteria for 20 study programs at FT UNY. The average results of the 9 criteria were described, including vision and mission, governance, students and alumni, human resources, and other criteria. This detailed data presentation provides a clear picture of FT UNY's performance in the various aspects assessed.
Follow-up of AMI Findings
Dr. Umi Rochayati, M.T., gave a special note on the S1 Industrial Engineering study program, where the spider web of results has not been maximized. Therefore, it is proposed to conduct a Follow-up Meeting (RTM) to improve performance in this aspect. In general, findings in the observation category are highlighted lightly, in addition to more serious major and minor findings.
Improve the Quality and Follow-up of RTM
Bonita Destiana, M.Pd., as the last presenter of information, emphasized the importance of major and minor findings in the AMI report. She also conveyed the need to improve the quality of RTM reports and follow-ups that can be accessed through the WhatsApp discussion group (WAG).
This whole activity reflects FT UNY's commitment in improving the quality and accountability of the institution. With a comprehensive AMI report, it is expected that the Faculty of Engineering can continue to improve and improve the quality of higher education in the future.
