Field Assessment of the Applicant Bachelor of Civil Engineering Study Program (D4)

The Applied Undergraduate Civil Engineering Study Program (D4) of the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University underwent an online Field Assessment (AL) process with representatives of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) for accreditation assessment on Friday - Saturday (11-12/06/2021). The BAN-PT assessors in charge of the AL were Prof. Dr. Ir. Nadjadji Anwar, M.Sc. (Sepuluh November Institute of Technology) and Dr.sc. H. Zainal Nur Arifin, Dipl.-Ing, HTL, M.T. (Politeknik Negeri Jakarta). The event began with remarks from the Rector of Yogyakarta State University, Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, M.Kes., AIFO.

The Rector hopes that the documents sent will be synchronized during the field assessment process. "Hopefully there will not be many deviations that arise during the assessment process, even if there are hopefully only minor things that can be immediately improved," said the Rector of UNY.

"Through the momentum of this field visitation, of course we hope that the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education services, especially in the Bachelor of Applied Civil Engineering Study Program will improve," he hoped.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nadjadji Anwar, M.Sc., said that his party in the task of BAN-PT was more about verification, confirmation and sharing to jointly improve the quality of education, especially in the vocational field.

In line with this, Dr.sc. H. Zainal Nur Arifin, Dipl.-Ing, HTL, M.T. said that during the assessment process, hopefully there will be positive inputs to improve the quality of education in the Applied Bachelor Civil Engineering Study Program at UNY.


Dean of FT UNY, Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, Ph.D., in his presentation said that the Applied Bachelor Civil Engineering Study Program (D4) is a metamorphosis of D3 Civil Engineering based on the direction of the Higher Education to strengthen the vocational education level as an answer to future industrial challenges.


After the opening, the event then continued with the verification process of Form III A and Form III B of the Faculty and Study Program. There are seven standards that are reviewed as the basis for assessment, including (1) vision, mission, goals and objectives, and achievement strategies, (2) governance, leadership, management systems and quality assurance, (3) students and graduates, (4) human resources, (5) curriculum, learning and academic atmosphere, (6) financing, facilities and infrastructure, and information systems, (7) research, service / community service and cooperation.
