Benchmarking Activity of the UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Unit at ITB
Penjamu FT UNY - On October 21, 2022, the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (UNY), carried out a benchmarking activity with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This activity is one of the efforts to improve the quality of quality assurance at the UNY Faculty of Engineering.
In this activity, a delegation from the UNY Faculty of Engineering, consisting of faculty leaders and the head of the quality assurance unit, as well as selected members, visited ITB to conduct observations and exchange questions and answers with their colleagues there. In addition, the UNY delegation also took part in presentations and discussions with ITB leaders and staff regarding quality assurance at the institution.
This activity is one of the efforts of the UNY Faculty of Engineering to continue to improve the quality of quality assurance carried out at the faculty. Through this benchmarking activity, the UNY Faculty of Engineering hopes to gain useful input and inspiration from ITB, one of the leading institutions in the field of engineering in Indonesia.
During the benchmarking activities, the UNY delegation also visited various facilities owned by ITB, such as laboratories, classrooms, and other facilities. They also discussed the ITB's quality assurance system and processes with ITB leaders and staff.
According to Dr. Umi Rochayati, M.T., Chair of the UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Unit, this benchmarking activity is one of the UNY Faculty of Engineering's efforts to continue to improve the quality of quality assurance carried out. "We really appreciate this benchmarking activity because we can get useful input and inspiration from ITB." "We will continue to strive to improve the quality of quality assurance at the UNY Faculty of Engineering," he said.
It is hoped that by holding the UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Unit Benchmarking Activities at ITB, it can improve the quality of existing programs within the UNY Faculty of Engineering.
