Benchmarking Activities of the UNY Faculty of Engineering Quality Assurance Unit at Airlangga University

Penjamu FT UNY - The UNY FT Quality Assurance Team conducted a comparative study with Airlangga University, which was held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. This activity was part of an effort to improve the quality of quality assurance within UNY to make it better and more advanced. A comparative study between Yogyakarta State University (UNY) and Airlangga University was held at the Balairura Plenary Meeting Room (floor 4) Management Office of Campus C Rectorate Building, Airlangga University.

This activity was also carried out and attended by:

1. Chair and Secretary of Commission E, Yogyakarta State University Senate
2. Member of Commission E, Yogyakarta State University Senate
3. Chairman of LPMPP Yogyakarta State University
4. Head of Center for Higher Education Quality Development
5. Head of Center for Audit, Monitoring and Evaluation of Higher Education
6. Head of UPM each Faculties at UNY and Postgraduate

The comparative study carried out at Airlangga University ran smoothly and successfully and obtained very good results to be implemented in Quality Assurance at UNY, while some of the comparative study results obtained were:

1. The use of cyber developments known as the Integrated Host is the key to success for quality assurance at the university level for study programs.All data is integrated so that it is easy to obtain data for accreditation purposes.
2. UNAIR standards are compiled based on SN Dikti references plus foreign universities.
3. SPMI at UNAIR is carried out through building a quality culture that is developed systemically and systematically.
4. The implementation of the Quality Audit System involves external auditors.
5. 70 study programs have been internationally accredited.
6. UNAIR is ranked 369th in the world.
7. Carry out Real supporting excellent for quality assurance agencies.
8. Changes to the SPMI Standard so that all criteria are accommodated by several LAMs
9. There are rewards for the best study programs and work units.
10. Assistance is provided for the creation of the LED portfolio for each semester or each year.

It is hoped that the results of the comparative study obtained and described above can be followed and implemented in their application in the quality assurance environment at UNY.
