4 UNY FACULTY OF ENGINEERING PROGRAMS PARTICIPATE IN THE VIRTUAL VIRTUAL VISITATION OF ASIIN'S INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION 

Based on the agenda of activities that have been prepared by the LPMPP Quality Assurance Center, after the AQAS visitation agenda, the next agenda is ASIIN visitation activities online. This ASIIN activity agenda is carried out to obtain international accreditation for study programs under the Faculty of Engineering UNY. The preparation process starting from the preparation of self-evaluation documents has been carried out since 2020. Then continued with a coordination meeting to explain the description and technical implementation of the visitation which was attended by all leaders and study program parties involved, conducted online.

For the ASIIN visitation in 2021, the study programs that were assessed were S1 Informatics Engineering Education, S2 Electrical Engineering Education, S2 Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education, S2 Mechanical Engineering Education. Meanwhile, the peer group who conducted the visitation were Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Moeller from the University of Wuppertal (Germany), Prof. Dr. Heribert Vollmer from the University of Hannover (Germany), Prof. Dr. Hanfried Hesselbarth from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland), Drs. Abdul Halim Samad (Principal of SMK Telkom Makassar, Indonesia), Tiara Yania Ifani Lakita from Hasanuddin University (Indonesia) and Sophie Schulz (ASIIN Office).

Dean of FT UNY, Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono said that this agenda is a progressive step to ensure the quality of education in accordance with international standards as well as an emphasis on quality assurance and commitment to continuous quality improvement.

"We believe the recognition of standardization from ASIIN will further encourage improvements in each study program including the quality of teaching and learning, curriculum quality, teaching materials and human resources. With a focus on Outcome Based Accreditation or the implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE) which is in line with the goals of the vocational field to compete in the global economy in the current technological era," continued Herman.

The visitation agenda was carried out from June 30, 2021 to July 02, 2021, carried out online, which took place in the UNY Main Conference Room and the KPLT Building on the third floor of the Faculty of Engineering UNY. On the first day, the event began with an opening attended by the Coordinator of the Study Program and Representatives of the University Leadership, in this event they discussed matters of university development, study governance and teaching management and quality assurance.

The second day of the event continued with discussions with students and alumni, followed by discussions with teaching staff. In the afternoon the event continued with a meeting with partners from the industrial world and partner institutions. This meeting discussed cooperation with industry for the development of study programs and others.

The third day's agenda, the event began with a virtual campus tour, and ended with a meeting of the program coordinator and the rectorate. In this event, directions were given from the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for feedback from the ASIIN Peer group. (ema)
