OBE-Based Curriculum Development Workshop: Preparatory Steps of Study Programs Towards ASIIN International Accreditation

UPM FT UNY - On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the Faculty of Engineering of Yogyakarta State University held an OBE (Outcome-Based Education) Based Curriculum Development Workshop as part of the preparation of study programs that will face ASIIN international accreditation. This activity took place from 10:00 to 13:00 WIB and was attended by 62 participants in the KPLT 3rd Floor Hall Room.

In this workshop, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edy Supriyadi, M.Pd., as the Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni, led as the activity director. Mrs. Dr. phil. Nurhening Yuniarti, S.Pd., M.T., also gave a presentation on OBE-based curriculum development for study programs that will face ASIIN international accreditation.

Workshop participants consisted of faculty leaders, resource persons, all study program coordinators, as well as all heads of departments and education personnel (Tendik). They actively participated in discussions and various sessions organized in this workshop.

The main objective of this activity is to improve the quality of education at the Faculty of Engineering UNY through OBE-based curriculum development in preparation for ASIIN international accreditation. With this workshop, it is expected that there will be a significant improvement in curriculum preparation that is responsive to international needs and standards.

Faculty leaders, resource persons, as well as all study program coordinators and department heads, along with educational staff, are committed to working together in carrying out this curriculum development plan. They believe that through measured and directed preparatory steps, the Faculty of Engineering UNY will be able to achieve achievements in the ASIIN international accreditation arena, as well as maintain excellent educational quality for students and other stakeholders.
