The evaluation of the implementation of the 2022 Faculty of Engineering UNY Quality Assurance Unit Activities was successful.

Penjamu FT UNY - On December 29, 2022, the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Faculty of Engineering held an evaluation of the implementation of the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) activities, which took place from 14.00 to 16.00 WIB in the KPLT Meeting Room Floor 2. This evaluation was carried out to evaluate the performance of UPM FT YSU throughout 2022.

Some of the minutes taken during the evaluation included Dr. Umi Rochayati, M.T., as head of the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit, providing input regarding benchmarking that had been carried out with Sebelas Maret University, the preparation and socialization of the 2022 FT UNY vision and mission, as well as plans for international accreditation on September 5, 2022, for five study programs.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Munir, M.P.D., as the Coordinator of the Audit and Monev Division, provided notes regarding the sub-division program performance targets for study programs that had not yet conducted audits of study programs and vision and mission reports that had not been compiled. Ir. Yosep Efendi, M.P., as Coordinator of the Quality Development Division, provided several inputs regarding the development of MBKM quality standards as well as making student development activities off campus. He also noted that there were 14 programs planned, but only 7 were implemented due to funding problems. Apart from that, he also presented a benchmarking plan with UNS in anticipation of ASIIN accreditation and invited Dr. Sri Andayani MIPA, who assists international accreditation.

Dr. Giri Wiyono and M.T. provide input regarding whether the hosting that has been carried out so far is in accordance with DIKTI standards and whether PPEPP has been carried out. He also emphasized the importance of referring to Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and highlighted the decline in KPI at the faculty level.

Apart from that, there is also input on how alumni can maintain communication with the faculty so that there is reciprocity, not just filling out the tracer study instrument. This is considered important so that alumni can receive job vacancy information from the faculty.

Although there were several notes given during the evaluation activities, overall, the evaluation was considered a success and provided invaluable input for UPM FT UNY to continue to improve its performance in the future.(RAA)
